Wednesdays At The Garden

All I have been able to manage so far is to come every Wednesday to water the garden and weed while I'm there. Sometimes I have two hours and sometimes only one. Often I'm alone there, which I don't mind. Sometimes I get to chat with other gardeners which I also enjoy. This dragonfly was enjoying his flight around the lush vegetation. I have to admit that he just about took my breath away- I've never seen a red one before!

Patricia and her daughter harvested quite a lot from their personal row! They generously shared their zucchini with me since I didn't grow any.

I got to have a long chat with the man named Deb too. We talked about all kinds of things including Vespas, gardens, museums, and Johnny Cash.

The garden is looking fabulous! Every part of it is busting out with flowers, vegetables, vining beans, and happy bugs like ladybugs and dragonflies.

It's such a calm place to be. I look forward to my Wednesday time there.
